Cookie Notice
ChatPVT sets no advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or cross-site trackers. It uses one strictly necessary, first-party cookie to reflect your sign-in state for account access, and self-hosted, cookieless analytics operated by Ahania in the EU for basic insight, storing no personal data. This notice records that posture and the controls required before anything changes.
Interim notice. Visitors should be able to understand whether the page tracks them. The analytics here is cookieless, and the only cookie is a strictly necessary, first-party sign-in flag (disclosed below) that carries no identifier and does no tracking, so no consent banner is required. Anything that set or read non-essential cookies or device storage would need this notice, a consent flow, and the Privacy Notice updated first.

This website sets no non-essential cookies, advertising identifiers, marketing pixels, or cross-site trackers, and Ahania will not add tracking technologies silently.
One strictly necessary, first-party cookie is used for account access; it is identified in full in the next section. Any other strictly necessary technology introduced later for security, load balancing, or form handling would be identified the same way.
Strictly necessary cookie
One first-party cookie supports account access. It is strictly necessary for authentication-state, so it does not require consent, but it is disclosed here in full.

__Secure-chatpvt_auth_hint - Purpose: indicates that this browser has recently signed in to ChatPVT, so the website can show the correct account access links and check session status with the account portal.
- Content: a non-identifying flag only. No name, email, user ID, or tracking identifier.
- Provider: Ahania / ChatPVT, first-party.
- Scope:
.chatpvt.com. - Consent: not required. It is treated as strictly necessary for account access and authentication-state, not convenience.
- Tracking: not used for advertising, analytics, cross-site profiling, or behavioural tracking.
Analytics
ChatPVT uses self-hosted, cookieless analytics operated by Ahania in the EU to understand basic site usage, such as page views and referrers. It does not set analytics cookies, read device storage, or track visitors across other sites.
Before adding non-essential technologies
- List each cookie or similar technology, its provider, purpose, and duration.
- Separate strictly necessary technologies from analytics, advertising, and marketing.
- Block non-essential technologies until a visitor has made a valid choice.
- Provide an equally easy way to reject or change non-essential choices.
- Keep the Privacy Notice aligned with any cookie or analytics changes.
Current status
This interim notice should be reviewed whenever analytics, forms, chat widgets, embedded media, A/B testing, advertising tools, or any other non-essential storage or access technologies are added.
